Timeless In-Studio Newborn Portraits on Cape Cod

Your baby's first days pass in the blink of an eye. An in-studio newborn portrait session preserves those tiny details—the delicate eyelashes, sleepy smiles, curled-up fingers, and precious expressions you'll never want to forget.

As a Cape Cod newborn photographer, I create a calm, comfortable studio experience where your family's newest addition is photographed safely and beautifully. Every session is thoughtfully planned to capture timeless portraits that become cherished family heirlooms.

Why Choose an In-Studio Newborn Portrait Session?

An in-studio newborn session offers everything needed for beautiful, consistent results. My studio provides:

  • Soft, professional lighting that flatters your baby.
  • A warm, cozy environment designed for newborn comfort.
  • Carefully selected wraps, blankets, and timeless props.
  • Neutral backdrops that keep the focus on your baby.
  • A relaxed atmosphere with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling.

Unlike unpredictable outdoor conditions, a studio session allows us to create beautiful portraits regardless of the weather or season.

The Best Time for Newborn Photography

The ideal time for a newborn photography session is within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. During this stage, babies are typically sleepier and naturally curl into the cozy poses that parents love.

But as mom myself, I know that every birth story and every baby is unique so if it takes a little more time for your and your baby to get to the studio, no worries, we will maken it happen. Whether your little one is one week or one month old, we can create meaningful portraits that celebrate this incredible chapter.

A Relaxed Experience for New Parents

Welcoming a new baby is exciting—and exhausting. Our goal is to make your portrait experience as stress-free as possible. We’re the only studio on Cape Cod that has a DONA certified doula on set for every session. She helps cuddle, soothe and pose the babe while Christine focuses on lighting and composition.

With more than 25 years of professional photography experience, I guide each session with patience and care. We allow plenty of time for feeding breaks, diaper changes, and comforting your baby, so there's never a need to rush.

Parents, siblings, and grandparents are always welcome to be part of the session, creating heartfelt family portraits alongside individual newborn images.
